Works well most days. Videos load fine and don’t usually buffer much. Just wish the monthly data limit was a bit higher because it feels like it runs out quicker than expected

"Activating it take forever"
I was just trying to get my phone set up, but the activation took way too long. I couldn’t even use it when I needed, and it was annoying.

"I had to reach out to Safelink support..."
I had to reach out to Safelink support because my phone had no service after I added a refill. The first rep did not really fix anything, and I ended up having to explain the whole issue again.
The second person I talked to was more helpful and walked me through resetting the network settings. It finally started working after about 30 minutes, so I was relieved it got sorted out.
It was not the worst support experience, but it was slow and you definitely need some patience. I would say 3 stars feels about right.

I could hardly get any “signal” in this area. Most of the time, the coverage was really bad and frustrating to deal with

I’ve been using SafeLink Wireless for a little while now, it’s been a good fit for me. I’m not looking for anything fancy, just need to make calls, send texts, and use a bit of data when I’m out. So far, it’s covered what I need without any real hassle. The best part is that it helps me save money every month, which is really why I signed up in the first place. Overall, I’m happy with it.

I use Safelink, but the website and app drive me nuts. Simple things take way longer than they should, pages load slowly, and I’ve been kicked back to the login screen right after signing in. At some point, it just feels like I’m wasting time waiting around.
The app isn’t much better. It freezes when I’m trying to check my data or account info, and while it does work once in a while, it’s not reliable enough for me to count on. I usually end up calling instead, which is annoying because that’s exactly what the app is supposed to help me avoid

I use SafeLink, and the billing has been mostly fine for me. My plan is free through the program, so I only end up paying if I decide to add extra data or minutes. The prices were shown clearly enough before I bought anything, which I appreciated.
The only downside is that changes can take a little while to show up on my account. It’s not "perfect," but I haven’t run into any weird surprise fees so far, so I’d give it 4 stars.

"Works fine, but it feels a bit cheap"
So, the phone does work okay for the most part, like it handles the basic stuff fine, but it just kind of feels a little cheap in the hand. The battery is also, you know, not great, it drains faster than I was hoping. It’s not a terrible device or anything, but yeah, I’m not super impressed.

"Support was honestly no help"
I waited forever just to get someone on the line... and when I finally did, they basically kept repeating the same thing over and over. Nothing actually got fixed! Then I got hung up on twice?? Really frustrating experience, and the support was just bad.
"Delivery was slower than expected"
I ordered from SafeLink Wireless and just wanted to give others a heads-up: the shipping took longer than I thought it would. The tracking didn’t update much, which made it kind of frustrating because I wasn’t sure what was going on. The phone did eventually arrive, but it showed up later than the estimated date. If you’re ordering, I’d just plan for some extra waiting time and not rely too heavily on the tracking updates.

"SIM card issues and slow support"
I got my Safelink SIM card it was just one of those annoying things from the start. It would not activate right, and my phone kept showing no service even after I restarted it a bunch of times.
I contacted customer service, and they did try to help, but I had to keep explaining the same thing again and again. They told me to wait 24 hours, then after that it was basically another 24 hours, so that part got frustrating.
It did finally start working after a few days, so I guess it turned out okay in the end. Still, the whole process was a hassle and not really a great experience. Not the worst thing ever, but definitely not good either.

"Using Safelink Wireless has felt like..."
Using Safelink Wireless has felt like trying to make phone calls during some kind of communication blackout. I’ll be right in the middle of talking, and suddenly the call drops like it never existed. Other times, the person on the other end can’t hear me at all, even when my phone is showing bars. It’s so frustrating, especially when I’m trying to call family or take care of something important. I reached out to support, but that didn’t really get me anywhere. For me, it just hasn’t been reliable.

"I’ve had a annoying time..."
I’ve had a annoying time trying to deal with my SafeLink account online. Logging in is hit or miss, some pages take forever to load, and when I update my info, it doesn’t always save like it’s supposed to. What makes it worse is the communication isn’t very clear, so I’m never totally sure if something actually went through or if I need to do it again. The service itself has been okay, but the account page really needs some work

"Horrible Company"
You’d think they'd know how to port a cell phone number, but they don't. I lost my job and I desperately need free cell phone service. I need to keep my cell phone number because it’s on my resume. I still have cell phone service with the other provider because my son still has service with them. So the account is still open and active. That means the account number is the same. I even provided proof of the account number from my other cell phone service and they rudely and ignorantly kept telling me it’s wrong. They are unbelievably rude!!!!!! I couldn’t even get a new cell phone number with them. They’re way too busy and obsessed with insisting that my account number from my current cell phone provider is wrong. They’re unbelievably rude and have the worst customer service ever!!!!
